PCDriverDownload is an archive of drivers for older PCs and the hardware that went in them, from Windows 8.1 back through XP, 98 and 95 to Windows 3.1 and MS-DOS.
Manufacturers retire old support pages all the time, and once a driver disappears from the vendor's site it can be very hard to find again. We keep a catalog of those drivers (sound cards, video cards, modems, network adapters, printers, scanners and more) so they stay findable.
Who it's for
- Retro gamers and collectors rebuilding Windows 98 and DOS machines.
- Workshops, labs and factories that still depend on an old PC to run a machine or instrument.
- Anyone setting up an older version of Windows in a virtual machine or emulator.
Where the downloads come from
Most driver pages link to the download or support page published by the hardware manufacturer, and the download button tells you which site it opens. Some drivers are hosted here. When we haven't found a working download, the driver page says so, and you can tell us where to find it. We don't wrap downloads in installers or "driver updater" software.
